01 For the person being helped
Six digits, read out on the phone or sent by message. It is tied to one session with one technician.
One small file from join.kshansetu.in, signed by Vinay Enterprises. Nothing is installed, and it needs no account.
Windows shows who is asking. Until you press Allow, nobody sees your screen. A banner stays on while they help.
02 Your PC, your call
A remote session opens a door into someone's computer. Kshan Setu is built so that door opens only from the inside.
Nobody can connect before you agree. Allow is never the default button, and an unanswered request is refused after a minute.
While someone is connected, a banner stays on your screen. From it you can pause the session or end it.
If the technician needs administrator access, Windows asks you first. Those rights end with the session.
File transfer is off until you turn it on. The technician never browses your disk: you choose what to send, and files you receive are never opened for you.
Text is shared only when someone copies on purpose during the session. Your clipboard is never streamed in the background.
The downloaded file holds no passwords or credentials. Once the session ends it is inert, and connecting again needs a new code.
03 Two ways to help
04 For the technician
The console shows the client's screen and takes your keyboard and mouse once you are allowed. Chat, files and admin access are a click away.
Technician sign in05 Check before you open
Kshan Setu files are signed with a code-signing certificate issued to Vinay Enterprises. If a file says anything else, do not open it, and tell us.
How to check a file06 Questions
No. For a code session you download one small helper file and open it. It does not install itself, and any administrator rights end with the session.
Not with a code session. Each code is for one session, and every session waits for your Allow. Unattended access exists only on PCs your organisation has enrolled for its IT team, and those PCs also show a banner whenever someone is connected.
Every Kshan Setu file is signed by Vinay Enterprises. Before you open it, Windows shows the publisher; it must read Vinay Enterprises. The security page shows how to check the signature yourself.
That message comes from Microsoft SmartScreen for files it has not yet seen many times. It names Vinay Enterprises as the publisher. Choose Keep, check the publisher, and open the file.
The PC being helped runs Windows 10 or Windows 11. Technicians use the web console in a modern browser.
Vinay Enterprises, an IT services company in Ahmedabad, India, working since 1993. Kshan Setu is the remote support tool its own technicians use to help clients.
